Some enquires we have recently received for website clients wanting us to build, update or promote their websites:
[Website Enquiry 1] As discussed, I would like to get a website put together for something I am aiming to launch in the new year.
The domain I am after is the same one as discussed earlier if you think it’s worth it? You’re the best person to advise us. The website would consist of a maximum of 10 pages, Services / Contact us /Gallery, etc. Under the services page there would be a page or a drop down for each service offered and a description of stages and what they get for there money. (Again open to suggestion on how to lay out)
As you mentioned let me know regarding the domain and I can pay you when you like. Have a look at the stanford-le-hope website of that building company to get an idea of what I would like to base it on. I would also like to sort out a logo, A5 flyers, business cards, and email address or two.
[Website Enquiry 2] We need to sort our website out… Well get it updated with new case histories etc.. And do a SEO job on it. Could you package up & send over the webfiles, so that we can update them & add in a few pages?  Is there any chance I could have the files tomorrow morning?  We’ve just got no time (or spare cash) to move it over to the new CMS at the moment.
[Website Enquiry 3] Great talking to you today regards to the meta tags etc, spoken to scoot and gill has sent me 2 emails detailing what to do next. By all accounts not a lot of work except “slipping them in”? So have forward them to you could you please “slip them in”
We are contacting you regarding your purchase of a Tracker, for your web site  from Scoot. As agreed with your Account Manager we have compiled and included with this e-mail the completed Tracker and Login Details.  The html code for the tracker which should be added to your website is displayed below. Prior to adding this code to the index page of your web site, it is recommended that a copy of the existing page is made. Should you use a Content Management System, or similar, it will be necessary to copy the page, before entering the code into your site’s CMS; instructions as to how this is achieved should be available within the documentation for your particular CMS.
Further instructions for uploading the tracker to your site can be found in our admin docs. The Username and Password are displayed below.
However, as a goodwill gesture we are happy to upload the tracker on your behalf. To do this we would require the FTP details to the web site, which should have been sent to you by your hosting provider, consisting of a “hostname”, “username” and “password”.
In order to complete the process, please simply send an e-mail to support@scoot.co.uk, including the FTP details from your hosting provider and your Account ID from this mail.
