Got 3 emails today requesting work placements (from the same Uni) we would like to give people the opportunity to learn new skills but when you approach a website design company its a great idea to have websites that you can show your work, actually why don’t Universities allocate a website and webspace to every student? would make sense to me.
Here’s what we got sent
I am currently a second year student studying a Web Design degree at University, I have been given the opportunity to take up a 12 month placement. I believe this will enable me to improve and use my skills that I have gained in a professional environment and develop them further. I am keen to learn new aspects of any area within web design and can quickly apply them to the appropriate tasks. I always look forward to a challenge and can work well under pressure.
My interests have always heavily been in designing and creating new effective work pieces. I really enjoy learning new skills and applying them in day to day life improving my efficiency at work. I enjoy keeping fit and being part of a team; I often play netball as part of a small team of friends. I have strong leadership and team skills which I feel will allow me to progress quickly in a professional environment.
We simply want to know what the student offer us and what will you expect from us? If you have a website with links to all your work that would be just perfect also.
Really love this excellent overview from a CV
With attributes that most employers would value, I show interest in most tasks I undergo and always do them with enthusiasm.
As a keen learner of new skills, I have an open mind to all technologies and new technologies I am also often intrigued by other programming languages similar to the ones I am learning now.
I’m particularly interested in this field because it relates to my current Web Programming studies at University. I am keen to learn more and keen to gain experience in the Web industry.
I get along with most people and I am capable of achieving my set goals and ambitions through diligently learning. As a person who adapts well to surroundings, when circumstances change, I change with them.
